Playtime
They crouch either side of the jungle -
A thick mud-brown rug in the hall
And I pull a pink satin ribbon
Soon to be pinned by their claws
They pounce -
A leopard and lion
The pretty pink string sees their teeth
Then we all sit in great satisfaction
Of finding the snake
Underneath.
